Lake Amsorak

Lake Amsorak dominates western Darokin. The bulk of its waters flow from the north; the Amsorak River, the Ithel River and the High Lake River all drain the Amsorak Mountains into the lake.
The lake waters then flow down the Lower Amsorak River to meet the Arbandrine River near Elstrich and then through the Malphegi Swamp to the sea.
The lake reaches over 600 feet deep at the centre and three islands, Itheldown Island, Greenleaf Island and Razak’s Rock emerge from the waters.
The cities of Akesoli and Akorros dominate the east and west shores, and considerable water traffic links the two.
Freshwater fish provide a resource for lakeside villagers, and rumours persist of other, fiercer lake dwellers.
Though the lake waters are generally calm, sudden storms can prove hazardous to shipping.
